Purchases from FPI Gallery can be shipped to almost any address in the world.
If you decide to purchase a photographic image from FPI Gallery and frame it locally yourself, we will use our preferred partner, The Framing Depot, located in Toronto, Ontario to professionally tube it and ship it to you through a reputable shipping agent. If your shipping destination is in the Toronto GTA, The Framing Depot can arrange for delivery by vehicle. Quotes are available via email@example.com.
When shipping an unframed image by tube, orders that are shipped to countries outside of Canada may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (“Import Fees”). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; FPI Gallery has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
If you decide to purchase a photographic image from FPI Gallery and wish to have it professionally framed by The Framing Depot prior to having it shipped to you to a destination outside of Toronto, Canada we will use our preferred partner, museumpros art services inc. Depending on the delivery destination, shipping through museumpros can be done by truck, ocean or air. Museumpros provides professional packing, waybills, customs documents, customs clearance and "declared value" insurance to expedite your shipment to its destination.
FPI Gallery will work with museumpros in organizing your shipping to ensure seamless service on your behalf. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a custom quote on shipping a framed purchase and for more information on how we package, handle, insure and ship any purchases you make.
If shipping a framed photograph, we recommend you purchase insurance on an All Risks Coverage basis at "declared value" when requesting a shipping quote. If you decline "declared value" coverage then items are shipped at your risk. While loss and/or damage during transit is infrequent, it can happen and we advise you to consider this possible risk when making a decision to elect insurance coverage or decline it.
If you discover any problems or defects with your photograph after opening your shipment, you must notify email@example.com immediately using "Damage in Transit" as the subject header of your email, repack the photograph in the package in which it was sent and return it to:
FPI Gallery c/o museumpros art services inc.
530 Keele Street, Unit #309
You will be responsible for round trip shipping fees if you elected not to purchase insurance. The photograph you purchased that was subsequently damaged during shipping will be destroyed and a new one sent to you.
